Product feed

A file listing your products and their details (price, stock, shipping) that platforms like Google read to show them.

Product feed

It's a table with one row per product: name, price, availability, image and link. You upload it to platforms like Google Merchant Center.

Example: a trainers shop uploads its feed and its products can show up in Google's shopping tab.

Platforms read the feed to know what you sell and at what price. If the feed and the website don't match, they may hide the product.

More and more AI assistants use product catalogues to recommend what to buy. A complete, up-to-date feed gives you more chances to appear.

Watch out: during campaigns like Black Friday, update the feed on the same day you change prices on your website.
